Jay Burson scored the second most points in Ohio High School basketball history. From 1981-85, he scored 2,958 points for John Glenn High School and was the all-time leader until 2007 when Upper Sandusky senior Jon Diebler (3,208) surpassed the New Concord, Ohio native.
Burson played at Ohio State from 1986-89 and averaged 22.1 points per game in the 1988-89 season.
